With the Checkout API, offer payments with Yape directly in your store. Yape is a digital wallet that allows fast bank transfers from your phone, after linking your MultiRed debit card to the app.

To integrate the payment method, follow the steps below.

1. In the PrestaShop panel, go to Modules > Module Manager. Find the Mercado Pago module in the Payment section and click Configure.
2. On the configuration screen, verify that in the Location section the selected country is Peru. If not, select it and click Save.
3. Scroll down to the payment methods section and click on the YAPE tab.
4. In the Enable Yape field, click the toggle to enable the payment method.
5. In the Discount (%) field, enter a value between 0 and 99 to offer a discount on payments made with Yape. The default value is 0.
6. Click Save.

Ready! Yape payment via Checkout API has been set up and is ready to receive payments in your store.
